Mayoral Urban Ecology Photo Competition
Background :
Nature is found in conservation reserves, parks, backyards, streetscapes and even on buildings.
Winners for each category/theme will receive an Apple iPad Mini and the runner up will win a book voucher valued at $50.
While our original remnant flora is the most important nature to protect, we also know that any nature is good in our urban environment (as long as it’s not an invasive pest).
To celebrate Moonee Valley’s diverse urban ecology, we are pleased to be running a photography competition in partnership with the Essendon Camera Club (external link)
We know our community holds great knowledge and connection to nature in our suburbs and would love lots of photos of Moonee Valley’s flora and fauna.
Council are looking forward to showcasing the talents of our local photographers.
