Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS):
GETS is a free web-based service which allows you to view and respond to information on current New Zealand government tender opportunities.

It is designed to promote open, fair competition in the New Zealand government market and meet international trade agreement commitments to provide information about New Zealand government business opportunities.
GETS enables New Zealand public sector agencies to publicly advertise tender opportunities and manage the tender process and any tender-related communications in a transparent and secure manner. All New Zealand public sector agencies, including local authorities, are encouraged to publish information on GETS. New Zealand public service departments, New Zealand Defence Force and New Zealand Police are mandated to use GETS to publish all tender opportunities above minimum thresholds, refer to the Government Rules of Sourcing.

You will need to register on GETS as a supplier to view detailed tender information, access tender documents and receive tender notifications.

FAQ :
Who is an agency/purchaser?
An agency/purchaser is any organisation eligible to advertise procurement opportunities on GETS. This includes all organisations listed on the State Services Commissions website.
I need access to GETS to publish and manage the tender process? What should I do?
Please contact the GETS helpdesk. Further information is available on gets.govt.nz under the section on ‘Register as a Purchaser’.
What should I do if I don’t need to publish and manage the tender process on GETS but would like to view more detailed tender information?
You will have to register as a supplier at gets.govt.nz rather than a purchaser. This will allow you to search and view all tenders from all organisations including closed and awarded tenders.
Once registered, if you wish to receive automatic emails of any notices relating to particular areas of interest you will need to add category codes and regions to your GETS profile. If you only wish to access GETS on a casual basis and not receive automatic GETS notifications, do not select any categories or regions.
