Career Instagram Contest :

Career Services Center welcomes you to participate in its 2nd Photography Contest on Instagram (InstaCareer). The contest aims to create a spirit of a fun competition among Qatar University students, faculty members, and staff. As well as, raise awareness of the importance of the services provided by us.

Capture any profession that interests you, upload your picture to your Instagram account starting from March 9th to March 20th. Don’t forget to mention us @QUCSC with hashtag #QUCSC.

Terms and Conditions:
** Participation is for QU enrolled students, employees, and faculty members.
** The career should be ambitious and Serves the vision of Qatar 2030.
** Your account shouldn’t be private.
** Only one picture for each competitor.
** The kind of group must be mentioned (student – Staff – Faculty members)
** Picture must be taken by competitor camera or mobile not from other resources.
** The quality of picture must be high
** Career Service Center isn’t responsible for image content.
** Participants should provide the consent of any person who is clearly identifiable in the photograph before the picture is submitted.
** Any competitor who doesn’t respect others will be excluded.
** Any competitor using fictitious followers will be excluded.
** Any previous picture can be used if it is reflecting the theme of the competition.
** Career Service Center account must be mentioned @QUCSC with hashtag #QUCSC
** Any picture that doesn’t respect the religions will be excluded.

To participate:
** Take a picture of an employee during the performance of his or her work.
** Upload your picture to your Instagram account and mention us @QUCSC with hashtag #QUCSC
** Pictures will be received from 9th to 20th, March 2014.
** All pictures will be uploaded to Instagram account of career service center on Sunday, 23rd March.
** Voting will be started from 23rd to 25th March to choose the best 10 pictures.
** The nominated pictures will be moved to the last stage where the voting will be started from 26th to 27th March to choose the winner picture.
** The winner will be announced on Sunday, 30th March.
** The prize will be delivered in the Career Services Center at the Qatar University after a week of the winners announcement.

Voting Mechanism:
The evaluation will be based on two stages:
The first stage (from 23rd to 25th March):
** 40% of audiences (by likes).
** 60% of judges.

The second stage (from 26th to 27th March):
** 30% of audiences (by likes).
** 70% of judges.

Evaluation Criteria:
** 30% Picture theme.
** 10% Image clarity
** 20% Colors

Prizes:
** 3 iPhone 5 for the first winner from each category (Student / Employee / Faculty member).
** Certificate of honors.
