SHPK Benefit of Payment for Unemployment

The Payment for Unemployment Programme is based upon Council of Ministers’ Decision No. 223, date 19.04.20016 “On Payment Income for Unemployment” as well as Guideline No. 1468, dated 26.06.2006 implementing this decision.

Any individual who is beneficiary of the payment for unemployment shall be adressed to the employment offcies the district where he is residing.

Required Accompanying Documents:
The documentation needed for benefiting the payment for unemployment:
** Working booklet
** Personal birth certificate with picture (photocopy of the identity card)
** Certificate of family status
** Certificate from the tax office branch, stating that the person is not a registered subject with such authority.
** Certificate concerning the school attendance by children under 18 years old.
** Certificate concerning the attendance of university education, for children up to 25 years old.
** Certificate from the Medical Committee for Assessing the Inability to Work -KMCAP- for declaring the inability to work, for the persons under dependence.
** Certificate from the social security organs, that one of the spouses is not beneficiary of a full pension.
** Certificate from the cadastre whether the person owns any land.

** Additionally, employers shall be provided with professional recruitment services, candidate presentation and description, employment support through employment fostering programmes.

** Upon the computerized operation of the employment services at all employment offices, online employment services will be provided to job-seekers and employers throughout the whole country.

Procedure Steps:
Any beneficiary of the payment for unemployment shall present him/her self to the service windows of the employment offices to receive the necessary information.

After an evaluation is carried out by the specialist of the services, a file is opened for the beneficiary concerning his benefit of the payment for unemployment, after which the files is passed to the Payment for Unemployment Section where a calculation for the beneficiary is made for each month.

The beneficiary as it is defined by the employment office shall be presented there to withdraw the payment receipt and then addressed to the postal office service windows for receiving the payment.

Deadline for Making the Decision:
Appearance at the employment offices shall be made within 60 days from the moment of interruption of financial relations.

Pursuant to Law No. 7995, dated 20.09.1995 “On Fostering of Employment” (as amended ) and its implementing sub-legal acts, the National Employment Service, through its employment offices shall provide free of charge employment services throughout the whole country.

Validity Period:
Benefit of payment for unemployment last for12 months for the 1st time, 10 months for the 2nd and 8 mon. for the 3rd.

No financial obligation
