Registration & Certification of Copyright :
Register and certify contracts or agreements on the transfer of economic rights according to Law No 9380, dated 28.04.2005 “On Copyright and Related Rights”.

Register and certify copyright for the categories of works defined in Article 7 of the above-mentioned law. Register the activity of entities, subject matter to copyright.
Required Accompanying Documents:
Documents required for the process of registration-certification of copyright
** Written Request to the office;
** Identity Card;
** Standard Form according to the category of work available in ACO website;
** Notary declaration on the authorship;
** Deposit of work in hard copy or soft copy, tape record and/or other options;
** Fee payment receipt.
Procedure Steps:
The applicant, author heirs, their representatives submit the required documents for the registration-certification process to Albanian Copyright Office. In case the applications is correct the Inspection, Registration-Certification Unit proceeds with certificate issuance, otherwise announces the applicant on the legal obligations towards the office in order to proceed with certificate issuance.
Deadline for Making the Decision :
The duration of the registration-certification process is 30 (thirty) days from the day of application, and 10 (ten days for the notification of the author, right holder or interested parties on the obligations towards ACO.
Tariffs and Taxes:
The cost of service is 1000 ALL (Lekë), defined by the Council of Ministers Decision No. 343, dated 06.06.2007 “On the tariffs of services provided by ACO”.
