Date Ranges:
Date Ranges , click this then select a range from the drop down list. This will set both the start date and end date and then do a page refresh.

Clicking on either start date or end date pulls up the calendar, with the calendar you can select any date range you are interested in.

Find Button:
The find button causes a page refresh.

Page Refresh:
A page refresh causes the map to be redrawn and the table to be repopulated. Both map and table will only show items that are active on or between the start date and the end date .

Note:
Please note you need to click on the day you want, if you just change the year or month then exit the calendar the start date/end date will not be updated, only clicking on the day you want will update them .

ZoomIn:
With this tool active you can drag out a rectangle on the map, that is you press and hold your left mouse button while the cursor is some where over the map, move the mouse and a red rectangle is drawn between where you started and where your mouse is now. releasing the mouse button causes a page refresh with the map zoomed into the area you drew the rectangle over.

ZoomOut:
With this tool active you can click on the map to cause a page refresh with the map zoomed out and centered where you clicked.

Pan:
With this tool active you can drag the map around the page, that is you press and hold your mouse button, when the map is where you want it release the mouse button to cause a page refresh with the map centered where you put it.

Identify: With this tool active you can click the map to cause a page refresh that will leave the map unchanged but limit the items in the table to only those that are within a few meters of where you clicked.

Note:
Please note at full extent it is difficult to click a road work, use the ZoomIn tool.

Full Extent:
This one is not a tool, it is a button when you click on this icon you cause a page refresh with the map at its full extent, showing the whole of Guernsey, but the active tool stays the active tool.

‘Road Search’:
Please type in a road name in to the input box above the map, then press Return or click the SEARCH button.

For Best Results:
Avoid common words such as LA, LE, LES, RUE, ROAD etc. If you don’t know the official road name, just type in part of the name.

‘Identify’:
Click on the tool to make it active (highlighted in red) then click an embargo on the map to show information about it.
