Reissue of Employment Permit:
Matters Relating to the Reapplication for Lost Employment Permit for Foreigners:
Materials required for the reapplication for lost employment permit (time limit for handling: 5 working days)

1. The business license of enterprise legal entity (duplicate) or the industrial and commercial registration certificate (the original copy and a photocopy);
2. An application for Employment Permit (affixed with the official seal of the employer);
3. The Labor Contract or its representative–the employee certificate (the original copy and a photocopy);
4. The original and a photocopy of the statement on loss of Employment Permit published (on a local newspaper at the municipality level);
5. The original and a photocopy of the valid passport of the concerned foreigner/resident of Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan;
6. The finished Employment Registration Form for Foreigners or the Employment Registration Form for Residents of Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan and two recent passport-size photos of the concerned foreigner/resident of Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan.
Termination of Employment Permit:
Materials required for the cancellation or transfer of Employment Permit (on-site handling):
1. The certifying document of cancellation or transfer of employment permit issued by the original employer (affixed with the official seal of the original employer);
2. In case of transfer to other provinces or municipalities, a letter of appointment with the new company should be provided;
3. The Employment Permit.
Points Of Attention:
Handling person should take a letter of introduction from his/her employer and his/her own personal ID document (in the case where an agent is entrusted to handle the formalities, a power of attorney and a photocopy of the business license of the entrusted agent (duplicate) should be submitted) and the relevant documents to the office window to complete the formalities.
Documents for Registration of Foreigners Among Permanent Offices in China of Foreign Enterprises :
** Permanent delegate of foreign enterprises in Beijing and their dependents (spouse minor children) should hold “Z” (vocational) visa when entry, and process resident application procedures to Exit & Entry Administration, Public Security Bureau in Beijing within 30 days after entry, generally, the valid period of residence permit will not exceed one year, and not exceed the expiry of the passport, too.
Must provide the following documents and evidential materials when process residence permit’s application :
1. One’s valid passport and visa;
2. Originals and copies of duplicate of “Business License” issued by administrative department for industry & commerce;
3. Originals and copies of “Employment Certificate” issued by Bureau of Labor & Social Security in Beijing;
4. Original “Health Certification” submitted by Beijing Exit & Entry Inspection & Quarantine Bureau;
5. Two recent, two in. half-length, bareheaded, and full-faced photo (both black-and-white photo photochrome is ok).
6. Adding the official seal of the unit when fill out “Application Form for Visa Residence Permit”, and stick a recent, two in., bareheaded, full-faced photo.
** Working not exceed one year in Beijing, can apply for temporary residence permit, and the “Health Certificate” is waived.
