** By selecting automatic matching option, you can receive the matching result.
* For more details, please see What is the TTPP?
I would like to register a business proposal. What is the procedure?
First you must register as a user. Once you receive a user ID and password, you can login to the site as a user and register your proposal. Generally, it takes between one and seven days to confirm the content of the proposal and post it on the web.
What are the charges for the proposal registration?
User registration, viewing and registering proposals are all free of charge. JETRO will not ask for any user charges.
Do you have any suggestions for registering as a user?
Point 1: Title Create a good title. The title of your proposal is displayed as the headline under “New Proposals” on the top page and in search results. A good title helps others grasp the contents of your proposal at a glance.
Point 2 : Proposal Category Choose your category carefully. You can use up to three categories. The “First Category” is the criterion used for automatic matches, so select the category that corresponds most accurately with the content of your proposal. Selecting a related category under “Second/Third Category” will increase the chance of your proposal being hit during a proposal search.
Point 3 : Description Make specific and concise entries concerning transaction targets, your preferences and points of inducement. Entering key industry words will increase the chance of your proposal being hit during a keyword search.
Point 4 : Image You can register up to two images of your products, services or business. “Image 1” becomes the thumbnail image and is displayed under “New Proposals” on the top page and in search results.
Is there a limit on the number of proposals I can register?
If you register proposals that are similar, JETRO may consolidate those.
Is it possible to register more than one preferred offer type?
For one proposal, we ask that you register only one preferred offer type. Due to the nature of the proposal, when it is absolutely necessary to register more than one, it is possible to register two offer types. When this is the case, please be aware that JETRO may ask questions about your preferred offer type.
Once I apply to register a proposal, when will it be posted on the web?
It takes about one to seven days. Once you apply to register a proposal, JETRO confirms the content of the proposal and may contact you by e-mail, if needed. Be sure to reply to any such e-mail from JETRO.
How long will the registered proposals be on the web for?
Proposals will be displayed on the web basically for one year. However, if you confirm and update your registered proposals, they will be displayed for one year.
If you take the same procedure regularly, your proposals will be displayed for a longer time. For your confirmation, before your proposals are expired, you will be informed by e-mail.
I don’t understand the automatic matching feature very well.
If you select automatic matching when registering your proposal, when a proposal that meets the conditions (Business Type, First Proposal Category and Country/Area) of one of your proposals is registered, a mail will be sent to you and the other party automatically. Log in on the URL included in this mail and you can check the matching result online.
What is the “JETRO Project”?
The projects operated by JETRO’s other section (ex. surveys, trade shows, dispatch/acceptance of missions, etc.). The TTPP is working on establishing tie-ups with these projects. When registering a proposal that fulfills the participation/cooperation criteria, check the box for the applicable project name an your proposal will be widely publicized.
What are the proposal categories based on?
The categories are determined by JETRO based on the HS (Harmonized Commodity Description & Coding System) and the Japanese Standard Industrial Classifications.
What are country/area names based on?
Country/area names are based on the Ministry of Finance Trade Statistics
