In the course of the year, institutions will certainly make available new programmes. These will be added to the website as soon as we are informed of them.

Specified entry requirements are guidelines, used by institutions in conjunction with their selection processes. Admissions are limited by the number of places available.

Applicants are responsible for checking their acknowledgement letters and informing the CAO of any inaccuracies.

The institutions have full and final responsibility for selection decisions.

Offers of places may be withdrawn if the conditions are not met or if institutions discover that you have provided false information in your application for admission.

Citizens of other countries must pay the international fee if they do not have permanent residence in South Africa or refugee or asylum seeker status recognised by the Department of Home Affairs.

** If we do not receive payment, your application information will not be made available to the institution/s.
** If your payment is not honoured, bank and administration charges will be passed on to you.

** All monies must be paid in South African Rands (ZAR).
** International applicant should ensure that the amount paid covers bank charges.
** International cheques are acceptable only if drawn on a South African clearing bank.

** People who are citizens of other countries (e.g. Lesotho) must pay the international fee if they do not already have permanent residence in South Africa or refugee or asylum seeker status recognised by the Department of Home Affairs.

    1. The CAO will not be accepting any new applications or Change of Mind requests for UKZN. Please contact the UKZN Call Centre on 031 260 2212 to enquire about submitting a new application/Change of Mind Request.

    l have been submitted all the required documents. Now when will I get my admission status. I have waited for too long. Now l need to know where I am standing.

    1. The Central Applications Office will be closed from 22 December 2017 and open for business at 8am on 2 January 2018.
